Netflix : Pride and Prejudice (2005 edition)

"You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on."

I want a Mr. Darcy, damnit. (Edward Cullens has nothing on Mr. Darcy, by the way. Whoever said that needs to have his foot run over with a fork-lift.) Also? Two things that I enjoyed (besides the movie itself) was the Irish Wolfhound the Bennet family had, and all of the pretty draft horses that were in the film. Ooh, how I wish I had a nice place in the English Country, with all the mist and green and old trees XD And a Mr. Darcy walking out of the mist to tell me he loves me. that, too. XD

I enjoyed that movie very much~ It was different from the book in many ways, but that's how it goes most times. I finished the book this morning, just in time to watch my movie ^^ Anyway, there was much more talking and much more pretty and romance in the movie than in the book. Aye, the book has it's romance and such, but it was a lot more fun for me to watch it happen. (Not saying that I do not like the book. I enjoyed the book very much~)

The end of the movie, especially, made me very happy. I'd been laughing through a goodly bit of the movie, and the ending made my sappy, romantic heart sing in glee. (So much that I had to rewind my DVD and watch it twice three times. Ahaha..) So here is another movie on my "Want on DVD" list. Take note, self!
It was also nice that Mr. Darcy was damn handsome D: What pretty blue eyes he has~ <3

Aaah, but now I have to send it back so that I can get my next movie. Damn you, Netflix! Look what you've made me. XD

In completely other news, today was my day off! So what did I do? I did laundry, and got dressed in my one skirt and went to town went to Property for an hour of shopping. What wind we were having earlier this day, though! It was so very strong that it tried to rip the bus doors open while we drove! The Windy Bridge (a long-ish bridge that goes over a very deep gulch) was an adventure in itself. Thankfully, it was a bit calmer coming home~
I enjoyed my private time of wandering the gift-shops across the highway from Property in the wind. I ended up buying a pair of earrings (Shocking! But in truth, they are the same as the pair I bought last year, the little star and moon in blue. I lost the star of the other one somewhere in my room... I was amazed to find another pair <3), three different books that are about either dogs in Alaska, dog-sledding, or both. I love reading tales about it~
I also managed to find an Alaska Tile! Woo. it's a simple thing, just white with a painting of some Forget-Me-Nots, the state's official flower. It's pretty (and it was cheap XD) and yes~ I also got to get a flattened penny X3 Oooh the collections I have. For shame.

But I don't care~ Tomorrow, Anita has the day off and it's back to cleaning for me. Kat talked to Alicia as well, and ... yes. yeek. No more thoughts on that this night~ It's been a good day, if not a little bit lonely. (Pam with a new boyfriend = no time spent with others XD; )

I fear that I'm getting a cold XD;

Next! Shinobi: Heart Under Blade, of which I saw a trailer for ages ago and promptly wanted to see. that was also where I first heard Ayumi Hamasaki's "Heaven" which I like a lot ^^; (This trailer, actually~)

Now I just have to drag myself into sending the movie back XD

Mr. Darcy was not handsome; Mr. Darcy was bloody gorgeous. It's too bad his first name is Fitzwilliam.

Mr. Darcy regular tops my list of fictional characters I would shag/marry/have-sweep-me-off-my-feet. (He jockeys for first place with Malcolm Reynolds and Brock Samson, depending on my mood.)

that he definitely is. The trailer doesn't do him justice at all. The Fitzwilliam bit made me reread the line twice before I realized it was his name. Does anyone call him just Fitz? Or William? You know, when they are being passionate or some such? Mr. Darcy has such a very nice ring to it, though, so perhaps it's that forever.

He may definitely do the same with me. (as well as Malcolm Reynolds. Brock Samson might break my back with the sweeping off of the feet, bit, but still. Thought that counts, eh? XD)

Mr. Darcy is just so much sexier than Fitz, or William, or even just Darcy. And besides, you have to say Mr. Darcy with an exaggerated English accent: Mistah Daaahcy

Oh man, you should see the BBC version of Pride&Prejudice! It was originally a mini-series, so it's six hours long, and it's wonderfull! It's much more true to the book and its feel.

This.
Colin Firth is a really entertaining Darcy. He absolutely has the correct amount of disdain for everything. XD

I have to admit, though, that George Knightley from Emma has always been my favorite of Jane's guys. 'Not sure why, exactly... But still, it was always George that I wanted.

So I've heard~! I will have to see this soon-ish, then.
And I will have to read Emma one of these days... I am lacking in the book department at this time because of the strict rules set down by my parents that I couldn't take many up because I'd just have to bring them all home XD Shipping, people! Giant box in the mail full of stuff sent home! XD

Ahaha, Orson Scott Card. Since ninth grade I've been alone in my hatred of him, but now he annoys other people! Yaaaay.

Damn you, Netflix! Look what you've made me. XD

Heee. Netflix is addictive. [luffs]

And you know, every time you mention this "Alicia" person I go, "Wait, I did what?"

I don't think I've ever heard of this man before.... unless you've mentioned him before? XD

And yes, Netflix is very addictive D: I'm stuck!
Heehee, sorry m'dear~ I don't really know what else to call her to lessen the confusion... AM? 's her initials, but that doesn't really work, either. Bah! XD

Ok! ^_^ It should still be out! The box looks like a book and inside there's the soundtrack, special edition 2 disk doodle, and a movie book! It was about $30 which I think is a good price for all that. I loves it! <3
